Ayesa completes the acquisition of Ibermática

Ayesa, a global provider of technology and engineering services, has closed the acquisition of Ibermática, a move that was announced on 24 August, after having received approval from the Spanish National Markets and Competition Commission and the Spanish Government.

Ibermática will now immediately become part of Ayesa, forming a leading group in digital services, able to accompany large customers in their digital transformation projects.

The resulting group will have a turnover exceeding €640 million at the close of 2022, placing it among the top five players in its niche within the Spanish IT market, with a team of more than 11,000 professionals.

This corporate transaction is the third Ayesa has completed this year, following the incorporation of A&M Capital Europe as a majority shareholder in the Spanish technology group. As such, it comes after the acquisition of the Irish engineering firm ByrneLooby and the Madrid consultancy M2C, the latter specialising in data management.

Ayesa is now a group with advanced technological capabilities in artificial intelligence, data analytics, process automation and robotics, as well as cloud-native application development. It also has broad sector penetration and an international presence in 23 countries.
